Clube Naval de Cascais was first founded in 1938 by sailing enthusiasts and ratified in its actual form in 1940.

In 2007 the Clube Naval de Cascais inaugurated a new Club-house: an innovative concept that incorporated the beloved old Club-house into a bold and daring new steel and glass structure that embraced the Bay.

The new space is ideal to host all kinds of social and corporate events; from weddings, cocktails, presentations, workshops, conferences and product launches and promotions.

As a complement to our rental of the Club facilities, we offer several services and activities to complement your event.

SERVICES & ACTIVITIES

RENTAL CONDITIONS

- CNC rents out it’s lounges and spaces providing full organizational support to all Events, including decor, audiovisual systems, and catering.
- The Catering and Decor are out sourced by the Club, with the Clients approval.
- The Rental Fees do not include Security and Cleaning Services.
- To all Charges must be added the VAT at the current rate.
- For a normal rental, 100% payment is to be made when reserving.
- For an advance booking of more than six months, 20% of the payment is to be made on reserving, and the remaining 80% the week before the event takes place.

Objectivos do Centro de Treino de Vela do CNC

O Centro de Treino de Vela do Clube Naval de Cascais surge na nova estrutura de organização e enquadramento da Actividade Desportiva do Clube Naval de Cascais e tem por missão:

«Tornar o CNC no melhor centro nacional de Ensino, Prática e Competição de Vela».

Os principais objectivos do Centro são:

1. Dotar o CNC da capacidade técnica avançada nas diversas vertentes do treino de Competição e Alta Competição, nomeadamente:

•  - Metodologias de Treino e Ensino
•  - Formação de Instrutores e Treinadores
•  - Preparação Física e Medicina Desportiva
•  - Psicologia Desportiva.

2. Utilizar estas capacidades para melhorar a qualidade das Escolas de Vela e os resultados das Equipas de Competição do Clube.

3. Detectar e acompanhar desde cedo velejadores com potencial.

4. Dotar o CNC dos meios e capacidade de gerir a preparação de velejadores do CNC envolvidos em projectos de Alta Competição, nomeadamente projectos Olímpicos.

Se vem de carro - From Portuguese border of Elvas/Badajoz there is a Highway (IP 7 / IP 1) until Lisbon crossing the Tagus Bridge. From then onwards another one (A 5) goes straight to Cascais (approximately 240 Km in total). We recommend the route by car via Madrid (more 80 Km, but highway all the way).
