Clube Naval de Cascais has the biggest sailing school in the country, which trains around 900 sailors a year, with a variety of learning levels in various classes such as Optimist, Cascais, Laser's Pico and Bahia, Ilca, Hobie Cat, Sprinto and Windsurf and with a high degree of flexibility with regard to age groups.

The CNC Sailing School started its activity in 1950 and, over the years, has been responsible for training many Portuguese sailors, who reached national and international projection, becoming the club with the highest representation in the Portuguese Olympic Team and with honors in Regional, National and International Championships, winning several Iberian, European and World titles.

Through qualified programs, graduated Coaches, new boats and equipment, the CNC Sailing School ensures excellence in sailing education, having received the GOLD category among the sailing schools certified by the Portuguese Sailing Federation.

The Sailing School also offers Recreational Navigator Courses, which prepare navigators to command recreational vessels in accordance with current law (D/L 93/2018, of 13 November).
