The processing of users' personal data carried out by Clube Naval de Cascais, as well as the sending of commercial and other communications, particularly with its members, athletes and sailing school and navigation school attendants, carried out by digital means are in accordance with national and community legislation in force, namely with the recent EU Regulation 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation).

For what purpose we process your information 
Clube Naval de Cascais is responsible for the processing of personal data and will only process your personal data when:

1. It has a legitimate interest in doing so, namely to:
a) maintain the associate relationship with its members;
b) maintain sporting relationships with all sailors with a sporting license obtained through the CNC;
c) maintain relationships with sailing school and navigation school attendants and its guardians (sailing school minors attendants)
d) maintain relationships with participants in the Parasailing program
e) pre-contractual or contractual with our customers, representatives or employees of customers (companies), counterparties, representatives or employees of counterparties;
f) provision of own services;
g) be able to contact, via email and social networks, associates, athletes, sailing school and navigation school attendants, coaches, customer representatives or employees of customers (companies), counterparties, representatives or employees of counterparties, competitors, partners, candidates;
h) inform our associates, athletes, sailing school and navigation school attendants, customer representatives or employees of customers (companies), counterparties, competitors, partners about our activities, campaigns, promotions, events, among others, that we consider to be of interest;
i) To carry out questionnaires about the quality of the services we offer, as well as to carry out loyalty actions.

Provided that, in each case, our interest is in accordance with applicable legislation and your rights.

3. It is necessary to comply with contractual obligations and legal obligations that apply to you.

Why do we process your information?
When you fill out the forms available on our website or fill out the application/registration forms for the sailing school, Parasailing, or sporting events organized by the CNC, or send an email, or respond to an invitation, deliver a personal card, subscribe to our information or events, make a professional application your personal data (such as name, email, telephone number or address) are collected by Clube Naval de Cascais and processed in order to answer your questions, requests, or to provide/disclose information (e.g. newsletters, briefings, notice of race), for recruitment, campaigns, management of sporting events, management of the sailing school, events and communications.

If you register for any of our events, some of your personal data may be shared with entities organizing that event and/or with other participants.
By providing us with your contact details, Clube Naval de Cascais may contact you for marketing purposes related to its services, only if you have consented to the processing of your personal data for this purpose.
